This cop
I know this cop who was trying to tell me that speeding is just as bad as shoplifting. I disagreed because shoplifting you are stealing someone's actual property. He said as far as the law is concerned they are ranked the same. He asked me if I ever sped and I said yes. He stared at me, and shook his head. I can take a hint.
So I've taken up shoplifting as well...

Coming from a girl who's done a little bit of both (7 yrs old, yard sale, need I say more?), I think shoplifting is way worse. If caught shoplifting you feel bad. If caught speeding you just feel pissed off.
That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. IF it is true...I'm headed to the BMW dealership to shoplift a few autos.
Good points folks. I have never felt bad for being busted speeding. Just mad. I have been busted numerous times for shoplifting. Actually that made me mad too, mainly because I have never actually shoplifted. Just been busted for it. There must just be something about me that says, "I am going to steal something." I like to think of it as kind of a Danny Ocean type charm. Actually I'll blog on this topic tomorrow. There are some great stories.
